Meet Marcia

Marcia's journey in animal care began with her first rescue turtle, and over the years, she has taken in, rehabilitated, trained, and found loving homes for numerous cats, dogs, rabbits, and even a few guinea pigs. With 28 years of professional experience as an animal caregiver, Marcia has honed her skills as a behaviorist and trainer, specializing in positive reinforcement techniques for puppies, rescue dogs, and senior pets. Her compassionate approach focuses on rewarding desired behaviors and teaching pets to make positive choices, creating a harmonious and enjoyable life for both pets and their owners.

Before dedicating herself fully to animal care, Marcia had a successful career as a director in the non-profit sector, where she founded The Dialogue Project, an initiative aimed at fostering communication and understanding. This unique blend of expertise and passion for animal welfare makes Marcia a trusted and compassionate caregiver in the community.
